Job summary:

To provide comprehensive dental care, promote oral health strategies, and ensure quality of dental services to patients, as well as ensure a safe, secure, and healthy environment for patients and other stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of oral health conditions
• Perform preventive dental procedures
• Perform oral surgery procedures
• Prescribe medications
• Conduct examinations of patients
• Provide instructions to patients on oral hygiene
• Stay updated with industry best practices and maintain compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring high-quality, and ethical care

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery from a recognized institution
• Must have been registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board
• Have a valid practicing license
• Professional insurance indemnity cover
• Have at least 3 years’ experience in a busy hospital.
