Exciting Fundraising Intern Role

Summary

The Fundraising Intern will play a critical role by assisting in developing and implementing the organization’s fundraising strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Researching potential donors, corporations, and other grant opportunities
• Assisting in drafting concept notes, proposals, donor reports and fundraising materials
• Support the organization in maintaining the donor database, ensuring records are accurate and up to date
• Help organize fundraising campaigns and outreach activities
• Prepare briefing notes, presentations, and communications for donor meetings
• Track fundraising performance metrics and assist in monitoring donor engagement
• Provide administrative support to the fundraising team as needed

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Community Development, Communications, Business, International Relations, Development Studies, or a related field.:
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, and partnership development, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
• Demonstrated understanding of the Kenya Refugee Landscape
• Non-Kenyan applicants must hold an appropriate work visa/permit
