Job Summary
The Inventory Officer is responsible for managing inventory operations by monitoring stock levels, controlling inventory movement, conducting stock reconciliations, investigating stock discrepancies, and ensuring effective inventory management processes. The role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory records, minimizing stock losses, and leading inventory teams to achieve operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Control inventory levels by leading the physical stock count exercise and reconciling with stocks in Speed.
- Monitor inventory levels and inventory movement through Speed.
- Put up measures to control loss of stocks and investigate missing stocks should there be any.
- Manage damaged and returned goods from customers.
- Prepare and review inventory reports as and when required.
- Lead the inventory team to ensure accomplishment of the set KPIs.
- Develop KPIs to measure the effectiveness of inventory management.
- Conduct investigations into Inventory Management incidents in order to verify or resolve complaints from the client.
Educational Qualifications
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Procurement.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in supply chain or a related field.
