Overall Job Purpose

The IT Administrator is responsible for user support, installation, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software. This includes first-level support, systems administration, and implementing disaster recovery controls, ensuring effective IT service performance and security.

Duties and Responsibilities

Systems Administration

• Develop, deploy, and maintain business applications supporting critical processes.
• Install and configure IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and storage.
• Manage and administer both on-premise virtualized systems and cloud infrastructures.

IT Enabled Implementations

• Identify needs and propose solutions for new systems or changes to existing systems.
• Assist in developing enterprise data models and implementing business analytics tools.

Operations and Support

• Provide first-level support, investigating and troubleshooting help desk issues.
• Perform continuous monitoring of systems, ensuring integrity and availability of resources.
• Manage external service providers for contract negotiations and troubleshooting.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in IT project implementation; PRINCE2 or PMP certification preferred.
• System Administration/System Engineer certifications in Microsoft; ITIL foundation certification is a plus.
• Experience in administering Office 365, Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud infrastructure.
