Product Manager-Billing Platform

Job Summary

The Product Manager, Billing Platform is responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for Remote's billing platform within the Fintech division. The role involves collaborating with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to build scalable billing and financial service solutions, prioritize product initiatives, drive roadmap execution, and deliver seamless customer experiences that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver innovative billing, invoicing, and financial service solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Own the end-to-end product experience, ensuring value is delivered through both software and operational services.
• Lead product initiatives independently and manage complex projects with minimal supervision.
• Develop and execute product roadmaps aligned with company and departmental strategic objectives.
• Translate long-term product strategies into clear short- and medium-term goals.
• Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business impact and customer needs.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for the billing platform and related financial products.
• Drive product improvements through rapid, iterative development and continuous feedback.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, finance, sales, and other stakeholders to solve complex business challenges.
• Monitor key business KPIs and ensure product initiatives contribute to measurable business outcomes.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate product priorities, progress, and outcomes effectively.
• Support the growth and scalability of the billing platform through strategic planning and execution.
• Promote knowledge sharing by contributing best practices, processes, and product insights within the Product organization.
• Work effectively in a remote, asynchronous, and collaborative environment.
• Contribute to tactical and strategic decision-making for the Finance product portfolio.
• Continuously improve customer experiences by identifying and solving complex product challenges.

Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), or equivalent qualification in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Product Manager in billing, invoicing, financial platforms, or similar products, preferably within a high-growth technology company.
• Experience working in remote or distributed teams is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar platforms.
• Ability to independently build, debug, and ship functional prototypes or small code changes using AI tools.
• Strong understanding of product management methodologies, roadmap planning, and agile product development.
• Knowledge of billing systems, invoicing platforms, and financial technology products.
• Ability to analyze business metrics and translate insights into product improvements.
