Property Finance Manager

Job Summary

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the client portfolio financial function, providing strategic financial leadership, and ensuring finance serves as a value-adding business partner. The role supports business decision-making, develops financial reporting systems for property owners, and ensures effective financial planning, compliance, and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that finance is seen as a value-adding business partner to the Business, Tenants, Property Asset Management, and External Clients.
• Develop Finance’s influence in the making of business decisions.
• Oversee and manage all aspects of the Client Portfolio financial function.
• Develop systems that cater to the reporting needs of property owners.

Decision Making Authority

• Make rules and establish precedents enabling lower bands to perform effectively.
• Interpret the strategy laid out by Senior Management by applying material and manpower resources to achieve objectives outlined in the strategy for specific organizational functions.
• Operate within approved budget parameters and the established decision-making framework.

Experience / Education

• BCom in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
