Trainer- Automotive Engineering

Job Summary

The Trainer – Automotive Engineering is responsible for delivering high-quality theoretical and practical training in automotive engineering. The role involves preparing lesson plans, conducting classroom and workshop instruction, assessing trainee performance, maintaining training records, and ensuring compliance with TVETA standards to equip learners with industry-relevant technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver theoretical and practical training in automotive engineering.
• Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and instructional resources.
• Conduct practical demonstrations and supervise workshop activities.
• Assess trainees through continuous assessments, practical evaluations, and examinations.
• Monitor trainee progress and provide guidance and mentorship.
• Maintain accurate student attendance, assessment, and training records.
• Ensure training activities comply with TVETA standards and institutional policies.
• Promote workplace safety and proper use of tools, equipment, and workshop facilities.
• Support curriculum implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other training-related duties assigned by management.

Education

• Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Automotive Engineering or a related field.

Experience

• Relevant teaching or industry experience is an added advantage.

Professional Requirements

• Must possess pedagogical training or teaching skills.
• Must have a valid TVETA registration number.
